Welder / Fabricator Department(s): Manufacturing Job Summary: Consolidated Sterilizer Systems is a small but growing company that designs and manufactures steam sterilizers (autoclaves) at our facility in Billerica. We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to manufacture pressure vessels. Qualified candidate will work in a production shop welding ASME code pressure vessels using GMAW and GTAW welding processes. This position will require company sponsored ASME certification while employed. Requirements: Demonstrated experience using the above processes with steel and stainless steel for a minimum of 2 years Experience in operating overhead & jib cranes, saws, grinders and related shop equipment Proficient in reading shop drawings Experience in the creation of jigs and fixtures We are looking for a fast learner who can think through and solve problems, has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and ERP systems is a plus. This is for a permanent full-time position to start immediately. Salary Range is $24-$35/hour commensurate with existing skills & experience.
