Accounting Clerk Job Summary: Consolidated Sterilizer Systems is a leading manufacturer of steam sterilization systems, providing solutions for life sciences and health care customers for more than 70 years. We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of clerical accounting tasks to support accounts payable and other accounting needs in the organization. Responsibilities: Enter accounts payable invoices received and match them against PO’s when applicable. Process vendor payments according to their due date and payment method. Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies as needed. Maintain good filing practices and stewardship over paper and electronic records. Analysis on purchase orders received not billed and propose resolution to resolve. Support work related to the annual audit and other projects. Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Working knowledge of accounts payable and inventory processes Experience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to record, store, and analyze financial data. Experience with the Acumatica platform a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Associate’s degree in business required, accounting or finance coursework a plus.At least two years of experience in an administrative role with related responsibilities, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time. This is for a permanent full-time position, on-site, to start immediately. Salary/Benefits: Salary range is $60,000 to $68,000, commensurate with existing skills & experience. The benefits include working in a great atmosphere with friendly co-workers, medical, dental & vision coverage, vacation/holiday/sick time, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and lots of opportunity to learn new things.
